Pickleball, Anyone? Free Lessons In Upper Saddle River

UPPER SADDLE RIVER, N.J. -- Learn how to play one of the fastest growing sports in America on Monday, Sept. 19 at the Upper Saddle River Library. Pickleball is a simple paddle game played using a perforated, slow-moving ball over a tennis-type net on a badminton-sized court. It can be played by just about anyone.

The 7 p.m. class at the library will show participants what it is and how to play. 

The rules are simple and the game is easy for beginners to learn. 

George Cheah, President of the New Jersey Pickleball Association, will be here to demonstrate the game. Registration is required.
